ForgeLens started as a basic interface: data attachment and a chat window. It could hold a conversation and reference uploaded files, but it had no structure around who was asking. A CFO and a CTO got the same generic chat and answers, with no sense of which decisions mattered to their role. The redesign needed to turn that flat interface into a role-aware product without losing the conversational core that already worked.

ForgeLens began as a flat chat interface with data attachment but no sense of role or priority. The redesign kept its conversational core, including file citations, inline tables and charts, and suggested next moves, then wrapped it in a role-based structure so the same data means something different depending on who is asking.
The product was reorganised around the decisions each role makes, with a clear path from overview to evidence to action. A sidebar switch reprioritizes the entire dashboard: a CFO sees runway and burn, a CTO sees deployment velocity and incident debt, and a CEO sees narrative and people, all from the same data.
Reusable cards, filters, tables, status patterns, and data-visualisation rules keep dense screens consistent across all five roles.
